In order to get to the Símbolos Patrios Primary School, you will have to walk alongside a mountain of garbage several feet high. The city of Oaxaca and neighboring municipalities deposit between 800-1000tons of garbage per day in the Municipal Landfill located in Villa de Zaachila, right across the street from the Primary School.
